Of course I did not disappoint this year. I was the ONLY person on the block that actually decorated my house. It was actually quite funny as all the little kids wanted to know if the INSIDE of the house was as scary as the outside. At any rate it was definitely a hit - and with the parents as well - cause people were actually taking pictures of my house! LOL Here are some pics to show you my Halloween decorating. Oh and I got about 30 kids btw. They have to walk up a long hill to get to my place - so I always want to make sure they have a cool house and good candy when they get here. What unfortunately doesn't show up real well is that we also had orange lights in our patio light fixtures so there was an extra special glow. - So you will just have to imagine that part of the scary factor.
No it's not Bagheera! But I do wish my black cat would be a good Halloween kitty for me.
Here is my cemetary - it's not nearly as cool as Momma Lori's cemetary - but Tony did take a really good picture.
Last year my leaves were already off the tree - but since they were late in dropping this year - I was able to stick a skeleton hand in the tree grabbing for the graveyard sign - I know.....I'm creative, what can I say?
And because it really is about the nuances..... mice on skeletons, snakes crawling around at you, the glowing hanging cauldron hidden behind spider webs, spider webbing on the shrubs......
And here is the crazy doctor at the morgue waiting to cut up more people. :)
